BEFORE MAKE UP
Proper preparation before a makeup application is essential to ensure a flawless and long-lasting look.
- Cleanse thoroughly: start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt, oil, or leftover makeup.
- Exfoliate the skin the night before the makeup session to remove dead skin cells. This helps create a smoother surface for makeup application.
- Apply the nourishing mask sheet on your face the night before make up session.
- Groom your brows the day before the makeup session, either by tweezing, waxing, or threading. Avoid doing this on the same day, as it can cause redness or irritation around the brow area.
- Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your makeup session. Hydrated skin looks more radiant and is easier to work with.
- Minimize intake of salty or greasy foods, which can cause puffiness, especially around the eyes.
aftercare
Proper aftercare following a makeup application is essential for maintaining the look and ensuring the health of the skin.
Protect the makeup:
- Avoid touching your face: Resist the urge to touch, rub, or scratch your face to prevent smudging or disturbing the makeup.
- Blot, don’t wipe: If your skin becomes oily or shiny, use blotting papers to gently absorb excess oil. Avoid wiping, as this can remove makeup.
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
- Avoid direct heat: Steer clear of high heat, such as standing too close to heaters, hot stoves, or open flames, as heat can cause makeup to melt or become uneven.
